It exposes the Linux system information through HTTP and SNMP, the two widely used protocols. SNMP Agent for Linux comes with a predefined MIB, called ADVENTNET-LINUX-MIB and also standard MIBs such as HOST-RESOURCES-MIB and RFC1213-MIB to enable SNMP manageability for the Linux system. A user-friendly Web console is also available with the product for testing the deployed agent, thus providing a complete off-the-shelf user experience.  In addition, the "manager" software, also called Remote Installation Tool, facilitates easy remote installation of SNMP Agents in the Linux machines.
